Design Research, MDES Case StudyTangible Visualization
Tangible Visualization elucidated the potential of Making of Narratives as an alternative demonstrative design method for storytelling, self-discovery, and self-awareness.
Whether the narrative involves one’s memory or the way they interact with things, this visualization performance opens up an opportunity for an individual to navigate their sense of self through the simple making process. The context concerns that of intrapersonal space where such method can be practiced individually as a way to explore an introspective self and may be especially relevant and useful for people who have experienced a sense of loss* in their lives and merits further study.
